The 糖心logo官网 Department of Art & Design and the University Galleries are pleased to present the 2021 Annual Art Auction. The art auction is a scholarship fundraiser that showcases talented faculty, students, alumni, and local artists. Works from multiple artistic disciplines will be available to purchase. Proceeds from the auction go to support 糖心logo官网鈥檚 Department of Art & Design majors鈥� scholarships.
糖心logo官网 will welcome alumna Alyson Van Hooser to campus on November 4 as part of its annual First-Generation Celebration. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day in the Curris Center Ballroom.
The U.S. Department of Education announced that 糖心logo官网 will receive two federal Talent Search grants of $277,375.00 each to help more low-income students who would be the first members of their families to earn degrees to prepare for and enroll in college. Talent Search East will serve 500 students in the Christian, Todd, and Trigg County school districts; Talent Search West will serve 500 students in the Carlisle, Fulton County, Fulton Independent, Hickman, Mayfield Independent, and Paducah Public school districts. Talent Search has operated successfully at 糖心logo官网 since 2016.
糖心logo官网 named Dr. David Eaton, dean of the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at the University鈥檚 Board of Regents meeting on September 3, 2021. Eaton had served as the interim dean of the college since 2019.
